    3. Or, perhaps (gasp!), you have an adblocker installed on your phone or computer?

 

If so, you’re not alone. Nearly half of internet users are using an adblocker, and the numbers continue to climb.

 

So, if you and I and a few hundred million of our closest prospective customers, are ignoring, closing, or blocking ads, how is a business supposed to get your message out?

One extremely successful path is content marketing.

 

What is Marketing Content?

Marketing content is any form of information you produce that intentionally, strategically provides useful, valuable information that your customers and prospective customers need, with the goal of positioning your organization as a solution provider. 

It serves to make your name known to the people who consume it – through reading, watching, listening – and, done right, it builds their confidence in your business, organization, products, and services, but it isn’t focused on selling.

Marketing content is a means of drawing customers to you, because they’ve come to view you as a source who provides value and helps them solve problems, rather than pushing your ads on them.
